56 Platinum awards to be issued in our final week. 238 students have been rewarded their Platinum badge this academic year. It has been a pleasure to meet and shake the hand of each and every one of these well deserving ‘Denton Stars’
These Year 7 authors have received copies of their published work as part of Young Writers 2019. It was a pleasure to give the books to these Denton Stars.
Students from DCC performed at The Plaza Stockport as part of Gibsons Dance Academy show this weekend. Miss Moran, Teacher of Dance went to watch and was incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Well done!
Last night the year 7 rounders team competed in the annual Tameside tournament. They competed against Fairfield, St Thomas More and All Saints. They were undefeated in all games, being crowned the Champions of Tameside overall.
They demonstrated excellent teamwork and communication skills alongside great sportsmanship. In some games they didn’t even concede any points! They were a credit to the school! A massive congratulations to these students.

Denton Community College’s “Summer Blast” returns again for 2019!
Our annual Summer Fair will take place on Saturday 13th July from 11am-3pm. There are lots of activities on offer. There is guaranteed fun for all the family, and a market place which will have a range of businesses showcased as well as table top stalls.

20! yes, 20 new Platinum members this week – Congratulations, we are very proud of you!
This week we welcomed a further 11 students to the Platinum Club, 1000 positive points – Well done.
This week we welcomed 10 more students to the Platinum Badge club.
