Congratulations to our Yr10 team of Business students who attend a Trading Floor event at The University of Manchester in June.  This is the first year Denton Community College have entered the event. The students traded shares and currency, making informed buying decisions after listening to live radio and news updates throughout the event.  Using their business knowledge they managed to turn a £21,000 investment into a £63,000 portfolio over 5 trading periods!  Despite being one team member short they still came 7th out of 25 teams from across Manchester which is a fantastic achievement!
