Students at Denton Community College, over a series of weeks have been getting involved in the Tommy Tomorrow World War one project in order to remember 100 years since the end of the war.
In lessons students have been finding out about the involvement of local heroes during World War One and have been producing art work and information displays to be displayed in the community.
A selection of year 9 students were given the opportunity to go along and get involved in the activities on Friday afternoon, which ranged from handling World War One memorable, to writing messages of thanks to the local heroes and talking to current soldiers fighting in the army today.
