Meet the Charities!
Action Together is hosting a series of Meet the Charity – Volunteer Information Meetings over the next few weeks. With hopefully more local charities scheduling a session soon!
These online, informative yet informal meetings are a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Tameside’s charities, the work they do, the people they support and how you can get involved as a volunteer!
Coming soon:
Finding Rainbows offers support to anyone who has suffered the loss of a baby, child or through early pregnancy loss.
These informal meetings will help us keep in touch with one another. They are a space to discuss organisational updates you may have, how you are involving volunteers and staying connected to them during this time. There will be an opportunity to meet people from other local organisations, to share ideas and to ask for advice.
Do you live in Tameside and want to support your local community? Come and find out what’s available in your neighbourhood, and the different ways you can give your time, whether you want to support a local group or you have your own ideas, we are here to help!

Advice and Guidance for Community Groups During COVID-19
Action Together is working closely with partners to identify best practice guidance for voluntary, community and faith sector groups to safely operate. As local and national restrictions continue to change we will provide the most up to date information we have available and how these may impact your building, services or activities.
We help people make connections and have a voice. We link people with avenues of support, groups with other groups and partners that can help their organisation and help to influence decision making locally. Get my group connected >>
