Members of the DCC boys and girls dance company have returned from a jam-packed weekend in London. Students developed their understanding of the performing arts industry and had the opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a professional dancer in the industry.
During their time in London, the students visited one of the world’s biggest dance conventions ‘Move It’ where students got the opportunity to talk to the leading performing arts colleges, take workshops with professional dance companies and watch a variety of performances.
Students also took a workshop at Danceworks studio on Bond Street as well as watching the West End production of Matilda. They even managed to fit in a bit of site seeing.
The students were impeccable and a real credit to the school throughout the trip.
